Our
build price INCLUDES the following.
1. Return shipping.
2. Locating and drilling gasport on new barrels.
3. Locating and drilling pin holes for mounting the gasblock/front sight
assembly, welding hammer pin to act as a "stop" for the selector.
Customer must send Galil parts kit,
reciever (IMI only)
and enough US parts to build the rifle legally.
On a Galil with an IMI receiver
these parts total 5:
The Hammer/trigger/sear/pistol grip and muzzle device.
With US receiver only 4 US parts required.
The source for the US pistol grip is Ace-LTD. www.riflestocks.com
After assembly, the Galil is parkerized.
As per the original finish scheme
the gas tube, reciever, selectors, and top cover are coated to resemble the
original powder coat finish on the factory Galil rifles.
All other parts are left parkerized.
** A quick note on our recent price increase on Galil builds**
Some of you,buy junk, send junk and have wildly unrealistic expectation as to what we can build out of said junk.
The current crop, and most likely the last crop, of kits that are available are about 2 steps removed from being scrap metal. Yet, some of you have insistedon sending them to us for builds.
No problems, there's nothing we cannot handle. We have subsequently made some nice rifles.
But the dubious and ridiculous "reasons" for many of them being sent back for "warranty" work, is simply a result of cheapness on the part of the customer.
You cannot buy a scrap, surplus, shot and beat to death kit and expect to get back something that looks like
a New In Box IMI factory rifle. It just ain't gonna happen.
The price increase arrives via the return shipping for "warranty" issues that I've had to rectify, or more accuratley, address at no charge since most of the "issues" have been cosmetic or based on the customer's internet opinion
gatherings, from the legions of IKIAs (Internet Know-It-All)s out there.
The ORF receivers have their own set of problems, and many returns can be contributed to things that AZEX has no control over.
